Overview of the Stellar Career College Surgical Assistant Program The Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) exam is offered by the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA), and all graduates are eligible to sit for it. The role and functions of the surgical assistant are made clear & emphasized, but not just limited to tissue handling, suturing, hemostasis, and also surgical instruments. Our well-developed Surgical Assistant Training Program will emphasize comprehensive surgery knowledge in addition to perioperative and postoperative skills.
